My teaching method is student-centered and adaptive, focusing on the unique needs and goals of each learner. I employ a mix of interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world applications to ensure a comprehensive understanding of English. My techniques include personalized feedback, interactive multimedia resources, and step-by-step guidance on creating and/or refining writing skills!
My typical lesson plan consists of a brief discussion of the student's current level in English, specific needs, and setting a goal(s). Then there is the core lesson, which consists of focused instruction on the selected topic, practice, and real-world examples and applications. I allocate about 10-15 minutes for review and discussing areas for improvement. I also offer resources at the conclusion of our session that could help you out for next time!
What sets me apart as a tutor is my comprehensive expertise! I have excelled in English reading, writing, and comprehension since I was a young girl. Over the years I have tutored my peers, students with special needs, I've worked with students from as young as elementary all to the college level. I also tailor my lessons to fit each student's unique needs and learning style (what works for one will not work for another). I offer a variety of resources that enhance learning and comprehension, which I find helps build a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
My lessons are for:
1. College Students: Enhancing academic writing skills, proofreading assignments, preparing for tests, and brainstorming essay skeletons.
2. High School Students: Preparing for exams, improving essay writing, and refining resumes.
