About Alexander
Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a music producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. I was brought up learning music through a very strict classical tradition, but later gained an interested in contemporary music styles and went on to play in many rock and pop bands as a teenager. I graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Film Composition in 2018 and am now currently working towards completely my masters degree at the University of Sydney. I have been teaching music all through my university years and absolutely love it. My goal is to pursue a career in academics and teaching music to make this amazing creative outlet accessible to all!

My teaching method is based on a very strict philosophy that has been used to develop musical skills for hundreds of years. However, I am very familiar with how boring this tradition can get so I implement it through the lens of each individual students passion and interest, whether that be a particular genre, style, instrument, or skill.
