About Linda
My name is Linda Jane, and I am a songwriter from Colorado. After graduating from Berklee College of Music and moving to Nashville, I have spent my time writing for artists in town, playing rounds, making demos, curating relationships and of course teaching! I have a soft spot for fluffy animals, and spend time fishing when I'm not creating music. I love sharing my passion for all of those things, and am so excited to offer more private sessions!

I offer structured lessons tailored to your needs and goals, focused in:
Music Theory: (sheet music, sight reading, ear training, Jazz AND Classical Theory.
My approach is unique to each student while creating the same in-depth understanding across all. My education at Berklee has given me tools to practice and train our ears and actualize the theory in real time. I am particularly proud of the visualization of theory I gathered in High School struggling to grasp the concept until I connected patterns, and applied knowledge from former classes such as Math, this is the strategy most successful in my students.
