About Clara
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and approximately 150 successful students. I work with learners of all levels and focus on complete musical development.
My teaching philosophy combines technical training with confidence building. Students learn proper breathing techniques, embouchure control, tone clarity, finger coordination, scales, rhythm practice, and music reading skills.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style accordingly. Some students require more demonstration, while others benefit from repetition and detailed explanation. I adjust my approach to ensure effective learning.
One of my strongest qualities is my calm and patient nature. I create a safe learning space where students are not afraid to make mistakes and improve gradually.
My goal is not just to teach flute techniques but to develop disciplined, expressive, and confident musicians who carry their love for music throughout their lives.

My flute teaching approach is designed around clear goals, structured progress, and adaptable instruction. I assess each student’s level and learning style before designing a suitable lesson plan.
Lessons begin with breathing exercises and tone-building practices, followed by technical drills and repertoire study. I ensure students understand rhythm patterns, scale structures, and notation reading. I also provide training in ear development and musical interpretation to enhance expressive playing.
Flexibility is important because each student progresses at a different speed. I adjust the difficulty level based on improvement and provide additional support where needed. Collaboration is encouraged through regular feedback sessions and shared goal-setting.
I maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment. I motivate students to practise consistently and celebrate their achievements. My aim is to guide students towards steady improvement, strong fundamentals, and confident performance skills.
