About Victoria
Hello! My name is Victoria, and I am a recent high school graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others learn English. English is my strongest academic language, and I have been using it throughout my education, giving me a strong foundation in communication, writing, grammar, and comprehension.
I have over 200 hours of volunteer experience helping students improve their English, working with learners with different levels, needs, and learning styles. This experience has taught me that there is no single way to learn a language.
I am a patient, approachable, and detail-oriented tutor. Whether you want to become more confident speaking English, improve your writing, prepare for an exam, or simply have someone to practice with, I will work with you toward your specific goals.
I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to correct mistakes, but to explain them clearly so that you understand how to improve and become more confident using English independently and naturally.

My approach to teaching English is personalized, practical, and focused on helping each student feel more confident using the language. I have over 200 hours of volunteer experience helping students improve their English, and I understand that everyone learns differently.
Lessons can focus on conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, or a combination of these. I can also help students proofread and correct their written work, explain mistakes clearly, and provide constructive feedback so they understand how to improve rather than simply receiving corrections. For students preparing for exams, I can help review relevant topics, practice exercises, improve time management, and work through areas where they need the most support.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's goals and any difficulties they have been experiencing. We then work through the main topic using explanations, examples, conversation, exercises, or written activities depending on what is most useful. I like to keep lessons interactive and give students plenty of opportunities to actively use English rather than simply listening to explanations. We finish by reviewing what was learned and identifying what to focus on next.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, so I give clear and encouraging feedback while helping students become more independent and confident.
My lessons are suitable for students who want to improve their everyday or academic English, practice conversation, strengthen their writing and grammar, receive proofreading and feedback, or prepare for English exams. I can work with beginners through more advanced students and adapt the lessons to each person's individual needs.
