About Nadine
Bonjour ! I’m Nadine, a native French speaker from Switzerland, fluent in both French and English. I’m passionate about making French accessible, enjoyable, and truly understandable for every learner. I work with students of all ages and levels, whether you’re preparing for exams, need help with school, or simply want to feel more confident speaking French in everyday situations.
My teaching style is warm, patient, and highly personalised. I pay close attention to how each student learns best. For learners who struggle with reading or spelling—especially those with dyslexia—I offer clear pronunciation support by breaking down words into simple phonetic chunks. This approach helps build confidence and makes speaking feel much more intuitive.
I love using a mix of methods, including conversation practice, visual aids, flashcards, roleplay, and practical examples from real life. My goal is for you to feel supported, motivated, and excited about your progress. Lessons are usually one hour long, but I’m flexible and happy to adjust to your needs.

My French lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and engaging, with a strong focus on real communication. Every class is tailored to the student’s goals—whether that’s exam preparation, improving school performance, or learning to speak confidently for travel, work, or daily life.
I use a variety of tools to make learning enjoyable and effective:
• Phonetic pronunciation support for clearer, more confident speaking
• Flashcards to build vocabulary in an easy, visual way
• Worksheets and guided exercises to strengthen grammar and comprehension
• Roleplay activities (shopping, ordering food, conversations, interviews, etc.)
• Step-by-step explanations to help you understand not just what to say, but why
For dyslexic learners or those who prefer visual and auditory learning styles, I adapt materials to make the content easier to process and more memorable.
Lessons typically last one hour, but I’m flexible depending on your schedule and goals. I’ve supported learners from beginners to intermediate level and love seeing students gain confidence and find joy in using French.
