About Anisha
My name is Anisha, and I am a Biochemistry student with a strong background in mathematics and statistics. I have developed a solid understanding of these subjects through my academic coursework, where I regularly apply quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
As a tutor, my goal is to help students build both confidence and competence in math and statistics. I approach tutoring by focusing on understanding rather than memorization. My goal is to help students build confidence in math and statistics by breaking down difficult concepts into smaller, manageable steps and connecting them to real examples. A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material and identifying any areas of confusion. From there, I introduce or revisit key concepts, work through example problems step-by-step, and then allow the student to practice independently while I provide guidance and feedback. I like to end sessions with a quick summary of the main ideas and strategies the student can use on their own.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to explain complex topics clearly and accessibly. As a Biochemistry student, I regularly apply mathematics, statistics, and analytical thinking in my coursework, which helps me connect concepts to practical applications. I am also patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students develop both problem-solving skills and confidence in their abilities.
