As a math tutor, I focus on building a solid foundation in understanding and helping students’ confidence in problem-solving. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to teach them how to think mathematically and approach problems with clarity and logic.
My teaching style is structured yet flexible, designed to meet the unique needs of each student. I like to work through problems step by step before moving to independent work. And I love to encourage mistakes as I create a safe space where errors are part of learning.
A typical lesson plan includes a quick review of previous material, the new concept explained with examples, guided practice, and then independent problem-solving.
I teach all levels of math from elementary school (grade 1-5), middle school (grade 6-8), and high school (grade 9-12)
