About Jessica
I’m a qualified primary school teacher from Australia with a strong passion for math. I hold a degree in Biological and Marine Sciences, but it was during secondary school that math truly clicked for me—and I’ve loved it ever since. I know firsthand how empowering it feels when numbers start to make sense, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same shift in confidence and understanding. Whether I’m teaching basic numeracy or tackling more advanced concepts, I bring patience, clarity and enthusiasm to every lesson. I believe that with the right support, anyone can succeed in math—and even enjoy it! I’m currently living in Ireland on a working holiday visa, and tutoring gives me the perfect opportunity to continue doing what I love most: helping learners grow, feel confident, and achieve their goals.

As a qualified and experienced primary school teacher from Australia, I offer supportive and engaging maths tutoring for learners of all ages. I use a clear and structured “I do, we do, you do” approach—modelling each concept first, then solving problems together, and finally guiding students to work independently. This method builds both understanding and confidence over time.
Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes and are tailored to suit each student’s level, learning style and goals. Whether it’s catching up, getting ahead, or simply making maths feel less intimidating, I create a calm, positive environment where students can ask questions freely and make real progress. If a student has a specific topic or question in mind, I’m always happy to adjust the lesson plan accordingly. I work with children, teens and adults, and truly believe that anyone can succeed in maths with the right support.
