About Josh
I studied Biological Engineering at Utah State University and got minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I was a Teachers Assistant for 2 years in Chemistry where I lead two group review sessions of the weeks lecture as well as held five open tutoring hours for individual tutoring. I also worked as a tutor in the math lab on campus tutoring geometry, trigonometry, algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus 20 hours a week.

I like working with High School students as well as College students taking the basic biology, chemistry, and mathematics (through calculus) courses. My general approach while tutoring is to take the basics and show how they connect to both each other and to the bigger picture of the subject. By understanding both of these the students are able to largely eliminate rote memorization and be able to adapt to a wide range of different questions because they are able to look at the problem from multiple perspectives.
