About Beth

Biology was my favourite subject at school and I helped tutor other A level students in my year. I have an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with Hons in physiology and pharmacology from the University of Leicester.

I also have a Master's degree in Physician Associate studies and am currenlty studying graduate entry medicine, so I have a good foundation knowledge of anatomy and pathology if you are interested in these. I like helping others reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I believe in trying out different learning styles to meet your individual needs. Our brains all work slightly differently so learning is not a “one size fits all” situation. I am a visual learner myself and like to use lots of colour and diagrams. Give me feedback so that I can adapt the lessons to best suit you! I’m mainly looking to tutor Biology but if there is anything else you want help with we can certainly discuss how I may be able to help.
If you are able to send me your specific learning objectives for your course I am then able to make bespoke presentations for your learning needs.

Ferdi is doing well in our biology sessions - he sends me his learning objectives for the topics he is learning at school and this is great for structuring our lessons. He is engaged and works hard to identify his strengths and weaknesses. It has been a pleasure working with him thus far.
