I tailor sessions to fit the student, tackling appropriate areas of difficulty in ways that are best suited for the student. In the first session, I will ask the student to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and determine preferred learning styles, alongside requesting details such as exam boards and predicted grades (where necessary) to ensure that sessions are at an appropriate level.
I also aim to provide a friendly and informal tutoring service, I find that tutorials always work best when the student is comfortable and relaxed. My flexible student-led sessions will not only improve grades but also inspire and empower students.
