I have a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Biology with focus on physiology. 6+ years research experience, primarily in Alzheimer's disease. Currently pursuing graduate education. I have tutored math, biology and chemistry for 5 years both paid and unpaid.

When a student struggles in biology, there is usually one small concept that unlocks the entire lesson. I like to make it a conversation, prompting students to tell me what they know so we can dive into the grey areas. Once we find the trouble spot, I use relatable metaphors to bring the concept to life. I live for the 'Aha!' moment!
