About Rupak
I have completed my B.Sc and M.Sc in life sciences from Presidency University, Kolkata. I will be moving to Germany to do my PhD in immunology at the Max Planck institute of Immunology and Epigenetics, Freiburg. I love the subject biology and I have been teaching since 2014 right after I passed out from school. I was a teacher in a coaching center with over 10+ teachers and 200+ students for over 5 years.

I primarily look to explain and make the students understand the concepts and logics rather than using rote learning. I have found this strategy to be extremely useful as students are able to retain the knowledge much better when they understand what they are studying rather than blindly following the teacher and the book. This strategy also helps in covering the syllabus at a brisk pace thereby giving me and the students ample time to revise using mock tests. Most importantly, I encourage interaction within the class as it leads to a positive energy among the students and they remain more focused on the lessons rather than wandering away mid-class.
