About Freya
My name is Freya and I am starting Biochemistry at Durham in September. I achieved A*AA in my A levels of Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been tutoring for many years for friends, family and younger students at my school and they always do very well so I look forwards to meeting you!

I have been tutoring Biology GCSE for a while, even whilst doing my GCSE. In year 10, I was working at a 5 in Biology and couldn’t work out how to increase my marks. The Christmas holidays before the mock examinations, I decided to ditch the flash cards and mind maps and to use pen, paper and mark schemes. I completed the whole course in 3 weeks for all 3 sciences only learning exactly what I needed to know and achieving 9 in all of the sciences and maths in the mock exams. I then began teaching my friends the same technique one of which jumped from a 3 in the mock to a 9 in the real exam and then to the years below me at school. This started my love for science and I continued into A levels using the same technique which worked very well.
