About Sophie
My name is Sophie, I'm 24 and currently completing an MSc at King's College London, specialising in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences. Having studied Biology as my undergraduate degree, and tutored students in the subject for 6 years I am confident that I can help you achieve your personal study goals. I can be very flexible in my teaching style and enjoy working with students, focusing on areas they particularly need help with. I like to provide students with study resources to go along with my sessions - free of charge and with no 'homework-like' obligations to complete them. I also like to have a free consultation with students before they commit, this allows you to get a feel for my work and see if you think we'd be a good fit!

Techniques and methodology:
I take an individual-led approach to tutoring and adapt my sessions to the students specific learning goals. I enjoy finding creative and enjoyable ways to learn, as well as getting to know the students learning style.
Length and location of sessions:
I am happy to adapt the length and location of sessions to suit my students but I typically offer 1-2 hour sessions, either online, at a coffee shop or at the students house. My sessions are for anyone studying secondary school biology, KS3 up to A-level.
Tutoring experience
I have extensive tutoring experience working with students between from the ages of 4 to 18 in maths, English, dance and biology. I have additionally worked as a behavioural therapist in a specialist needs school and I am extremely comfortable in providing support to individuals with additional needs
