About Katie
I have a bachelor’s of biology and spent the past 6 years doing viral respiratory research but have decided to do a career change to nursing. From high school to now I have tutored STEM subjects from middle school to college and have also helped my youngest brother with his elementary school math.

I believe in trying to find different ways to reinforce lessons or help make connections be made for students to truly grasp concepts or methods and be able to carry them over to further studies. In my previous tutoring experience, I like to start with seeing where students are having trouble then use models, design practice problems or make games to look at problems or understanding concepts in a way that is more fun and doesn’t sound like a repeat of class.
