About Olivia
I have received a Bachelor degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography from Newcastle university and a Masters in Environmental Consultancy at Newcastle University. During my degree I hosted study groups with peers and one to one sessions covering topics related to the course, helping build confidence and most importantly understanding of topics.

My teaching method varies depending on the individual and topic that is being taught. I will first investigate what my tutee knows with questions or even going over previous pieces of work that they have received marks from their school. I will then use a range of tools such as visual diagrams, flash cards, role play and written work to teach my tutee. I will then alway finish up with an informal test to ensure that my tutee has retained the information taught and fully understands the topic; If I think that the topic taught has not been fully understood I will adapt the teaching methodology for my tutee to better suit their learning style.
