About Andrea

I’m a Biology major and Chemistry minor at the University of Utah planning to go to medical school. I have experience as a human anatomy teaching assistant and I’ve worked with students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Outside of academics I love to read and be outside! Whether you're looking to boost your confidence, improve your grades, or just feel less stressed about school, I’m here to help.

My tutoring approach is patient, clear, and flexible. I focus on helping students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing answers. I break down complex topics into manageable parts and adapt my teaching style to how each student learns best—whether that’s through visuals, practice problems, or real-life examples.

A typical lesson begins with checking in, reviewing assignments, tackling challenging concepts, and working through practice together. My goal is for students to walk away with more confidence and tools they can use on their own.

With experience as a Human Anatomy TA at the University of Utah, I’m comfortable explaining things clearly and connecting academic content with practical learning. I tutor high school and college students in human anatomy, including subjects like biology and chemistry.

I aim to make every lesson supportive, focused, and even a little fun. I really enjoy seeing students gain confidence and feel more in control of their learning.
