Growth of micro organism
Meaning of growth:In any biological system growth is defined as the orderly increase of all chemical component in the body.can any one give me his own definition growth based on your knowledge. Ok fine,growth can be considered as the irreversible that mean it cannot be returned toits formal stage.Growth can be increase in cell size and their division.ok do you know that for growth to take place the organisms must take a good food,that is nutrition,soin other grow, microbs must be provided with all necessary substances or nutrients for the synthesis of raw material and generation of energy.
What are the Elementary Nutrients requirements.
The elementary composition of cells is divided into macro and micro element.The macro elements include carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulphur, potassium, calcium, magnesium,and iron while micro or trace elements are manganese, zinc, cupper cobalt,boron, chlorine , sodium, silicon as well as others that are not required by microbs.Microbs require energy sources such as glucoseor any other carbohydrates , vitamins.
