About Ann
Teaching biology allows me to break down complex cellular machinery into logical steps. The scent of a clean laboratory bench reminds me of the countless hours spent refining my own knowledge at the University of Queensland.
I am currently a Doctor of Medicine candidate which provides me with a deep reservoir of information to share. Over 4 years I have refined my ability to explain DNA and RNA structure or the intricacies of protein synthesis.
I often work with IB Biology students and adult learners returning to science who need clarity. Homeschoolers find my direct style helpful for mastering ecology and ecosystems or the nervous system.
My 4 years of experience helps me simplify genetics and inheritance for anyone struggling. I also focus heavily on data analysis and graphs because these are essential for scientific literacy. Metabolism and enzymes often trip people up but I make them intuitive. You can expect a consistent and thorough method that prioritizes clarity over confusion.
