About Eliza
I earned my Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Oregon, participating in children’s science fairs, molecular biology workshops, and hands-on classroom programs. With 7+ years of tutoring experience, I’ve taught beginners, reluctant learners, and advanced students preparing for higher-level biology. I teach Biology by breaking it into stories that make sense. Microbiology becomes relatable through the organisms we encounter daily—on our hands, in food, in air, and in the world around us. Cell Biology becomes easier when students learn to see each organelle as a specific worker inside a mini living system.
Genetics becomes fascinating when we explore DNA, heredity, and variations using real-life examples. Physiology becomes meaningful when we break down how the heart, lungs, brain, and muscles work together every moment. Molecular Biology, which students often fear, becomes manageable when explained in slow, clear pieces: DNA → RNA → proteins → life.
My lessons are gentle, thoughtful, and designed to erase confusion. I encourage questions, clear every doubt, and ensure students feel genuinely confident in the material—not just familiar with the words.
