About Saige
My fascination with the diversity and complexity of life led me to pursue a B.Sc in Biology followed by an M.Sc in Environmental Biology. Over 8 years, I have guided learners through the fundamental principles and advanced topics in biology, emphasising conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and practical skills. My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace and interests, ensuring they develop both confidence and mastery.
I integrate real-world examples, visual aids, and practical exercises to make biological concepts engaging and relevant. Lessons are designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I focus on nurturing independent learners who can apply biological knowledge to research, academics, or everyday life.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with current biological research, ecological studies, and laboratory advancements. Bringing these insights into lessons enriches the learning experience, helping students connect classroom knowledge to contemporary biological challenges. Watching students grow in understanding, skill, and curiosity is deeply rewarding and continues to inspire my dedication to teaching biology.

Biology lessons with me are structured to make the study of life both accessible and intellectually stimulating. I cover genetics, molecular biology, ecology, physiology, and evolution, using interactive explanations, visual aids, and real-world examples to enhance understanding. Lessons encourage analytical thinking, observation, and inquiry, helping students connect theory with real-life biological phenomena. I emphasise conceptual clarity and progressive learning, ensuring that each topic is well understood before moving to more advanced concepts.
For beginners, lessons focus on cell structure, basic genetics, and organismal biology with clear, hands-on examples. Intermediate learners explore molecular biology techniques, gene regulation, ecosystems, and experimental design. Advanced students tackle complex genetic pathways, ecological modelling, and research interpretation. Each lesson includes exercises, guided discussions, and problem-solving opportunities to reinforce comprehension and practical application.
