About Luca
As an aspiring chemist/bio-scientist, I ensure that I provide the utmost professionalism and dedication when tutoring, while displaying understanding and fluency in communication. For example, I acknowledge that tutoring time must be used efficiently to have the best possible impact on the student's success in their classes, however, I also am open to feedback and recognize when my students are overwhelmed or stuck on a problem.

My teaching method involves a calm and supportive approach, meaning with every concept, I check with my students before moving on, to ensure proper progress is made. I often give real-life examples and friendly practice questions throughout to encourage active recall (e.g. describing the visual reaction that a chemical equation has on paper in chemistry). A typical lesson with me lasts for an hour, however, I am open for longer lessons. I tutor any grade of bio/chem student in high school, at any level of mastery.
