About Milla
I'm passionate about combining science, technology, and education to make complex ideas understandable. I’ve always loved helping others learn, whether that’s explaining difficult chemistry concepts or showing how different disciplines are linked for a wider, more thorough understanding. My approach to tutoring is rooted in clarity, patience, and encouragement. I believe every student can succeed with the right explanation and support. I use a visual, structured teaching style by breaking topics into logical steps, using diagrams and analogies, and practising plenty of past questions to build both knowledge and confidence. I help students see science not as something to memorise, but as something fascinating, logical, and completely achievable. My goal is always the same: to help each student feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress.

My teaching style is visual and interactive - I use diagrams, real-world examples, and love analogies to make complex ideas clear and memorable. Every lesson is personalised to the student’s needs and learning style, with a strong focus on past paper practice and exam-style questions to build confidence and technique. I believe that learning should feel logical and enjoyable, and I always encourage curiosity and questions along the way. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Science and Maths, drawing from my university experience in biomedical engineering to connect textbook concepts to appreciate real-life technology and healthcare. My background in mentoring peers and working in fast-paced, people-focused roles has strengthened my ability to explain clearly, stay patient, and adapt to different learning styles. I mostly teach A-level, GCSE, and below.
