About Beatriz
I cater my lessons to the needs of each of my students. My approach to tutoring aims to aid my students by not only broadening their understanding of topics they might find difficult or helping them establish a good work ethic but to also build up their academic confidence.
Unless the parent or student opts for longer lessons, the lessons are typically 1 hour long.
In the past 3 years whilst completing my undergraduate in Biomedical Science, I have tutored at Kumon and MyTutor. This allowed me to develop my organisation skills, interpersonal and adaptability skills when teaching one on one lessons or even teaching small groups of two or three students at once. My experience has allowed me to be efficient at finding new ways to explain concepts for better understanding, developing my communication and attention to details.
