About Nicholas
I’m a biopharma scientist who has spent the last eight years working in research, and I genuinely love science. I’ve worked on drug discovery programs in Alzheimer’s and ALS, and I scored in the 96th percentile on both the chemistry/physics and biology/biochemistry sections of the MCAT. But I also remember what it felt like to sit in science class bored out of my mind, wondering why any of it mattered. It was a great tutor who changed that for me by making the material click and showing me how interesting it could be. That’s the kind of teacher I try to be now: patient, encouraging, and focused on making science feel clear, engaging, and manageable.

I teach science the way I learn best: by talking through practice problems step by step, breaking down difficult concepts into clear language, and using repetition, visuals, and memorable mnemonics to make ideas stick. I scored in the 96th percentile on both the chemistry/physics and biology/biochemistry sections of the MCAT, and I bring that same structured approach to tutoring. I work with middle and high school students in chemistry and biology and adapt lessons to each student’s pace, strengths, and learning style.
