About Mariam
I have been tutoring for over 10 years. This all started with helping my younger siblings with homework after school, and developed into a tutor during my undergraduate years. During my PhD, I worked as a teaching associate at university and helped undergraduate and masters students with assignments.
I like to communicate with my students in a positive, 'can do' attitude; which I believe enabled them to achieve and/or surpass their desired grades across all stages of education.

I completed my PhD in microbiology and immunity. I tutor a range of students from primary to undergraduate level in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. I also offer assistance to university students requiring proofreading of assignments.
I help my tuttees to understand scientific concepts they previously thought were difficult by simplifying things. The first lesson is designed to establish the students' needs, learning styles and development needs in order to plan an effective study program.
