I am a dedicated and results-driven tutor currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, with a strong academic foundation from a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering. My background is supported by hands-on research and laboratory experience in core life science disciplines. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and concept-driven, focusing on building a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, learning style, and academic goals, and then tailor each session accordingly. I use visual explanations, real-world biological examples, and simplified diagrams to make complex concepts in biology and microbiology easier to understand.
My teaching methodology combines theory with problem-solving and exam-oriented practice. I encourage active learning through questions, short quizzes, and discussion, rather than passive memorisation. Where helpful, I also relate concepts to laboratory techniques and current research to improve conceptual clarity and retention.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Lessons can be conducted online or in person and are structured with clear objectives, revision of previous topics, focused teaching, and practice questions.
I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering, with strong academic and research experience in biology, microbiology, immunology, and molecular biology. My background includes research projects and hands-on laboratory experience, which allows me to explain both theoretical and applied aspects of life sciences effectively.
