"Thirteen years of steady gigging have shaped my approach to the instrument. I focus on how guitar and voice function as one single engine of rhythm and melody. Working with intermediate hobbyists and self-taught players provides me the chance to refine technique without losing the raw grit of the blues.
Kids and adults alike often benefit from this clear, direct path to understanding how strings and song structure collide. I spent years earning my Bachelor of Music in Songwriting at Berklee to understand these mechanics inside and out. My goal is to make the instrument feel like an extension of your own musical voice. "Honestly, I find that most people ignore the rhythm guitar parts while trying to focus only on complex solos. We tackle electric technique and strumming patterns by grounding them in the songs you actually enjoy playing.
You will see how improvisation and soloing become natural extensions of your existing rhythm work. I incorporate grade exam prep for those who want that specific type of validation for their progress. My 13 years of playing professionally help me spot exactly where a student is stalling in their development.
We map out chords and melodies to ensure your hands and ears are working in tandem. There is no guesswork in how we build your confidence on the fretboard.
