About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach
Teaching Method and Techniques: I employ a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each child’s unique learning style. I use a mix of interactive activities, guided practice, and real-world applications to make learning engaging and relevant. Techniques include:

Hands-on Activities: Utilizing games and creative exercises to reinforce concepts.
Step-by-Step Guidance: Breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps, especially for essay writing.
Feedback and Reflection: Encouraging students to reflect on their work to understand strengths and areas for improvement.
Typical Lesson Plan: A typical lesson is structured yet flexible, lasting about 60 minutes:

Warm-Up (10 mins): Quick review of previous lessons or a fun language game.
Direct Instruction (15 mins): Introduction of new concepts (e.g., essay structure or grammar rules).
Guided Practice (20 mins): Collaborative writing exercises where students apply new skills with my support.
Independent Practice (10 mins): Students work on their own to reinforce learning.
Wrap-Up (5 mins): Review key points and set goals for the next session.
