About Ahana

I am a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I focus on helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into clear, simple explanations that anyone can understand. My goal is to guide students in writing coherent mathematical arguments and presenting their solutions effectively. I have worked with many students on university essays, research papers, and presentations, helping them express their ideas with clarity and precision. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Maths is highly structured and focused on building strong foundations step by step. I start by ensuring students have a clear understanding of algebraic basics before moving on to more advanced topics like calculus concepts, including differentiation and integration. Geometry proofs and probability/statistics applications are also important parts of my lessons. Each concept is carefully connected to the next, so learning feels smooth and logical.

I believe that deep understanding comes from practicing problems and seeing how ideas fit together. I tailor my guidance to support future actuaries and problem solvers, helping them develop skills that last. Every lesson follows a clear progression path, designed to build confidence and mastery over time.

My approach encourages students to think critically and solve problems with ease. I provide extra help where needed, ensuring that no one falls behind. By focusing on concept clarity and practical applications, I help students excel not just in exams but in real-world situations. The goal is to make Maths understandable and enjoyable. This way, students feel motivated and prepared to tackle any challenge that comes their way.
