About Bhagyashree
I am born and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra.
Growing up in Pune, I was surrounded by the rich Marathi culture and traditions of Maharashtra. I grew up experiencing and celebrating festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi (Ganapati), Padwa along with many other traditional celebrations and cultural customs. This upbringing has given me a natural understanding of Marathi culture, expressions, and traditions, which I love sharing with my students while teaching the language.
I was educated in Marathi medium and hold a postgraduate degree from the University of Pune.
I am currently based in the USA.
As a native Marathi speaker, I can also provide English explanations whenever needed to make learning Marathi easier and more comfortable for the students.

Marathi is one of India’s widely spoken languages, with a rich history, literature, culture, and beautiful expressions. Learning a language becomes much more meaningful when we understand and appreciate its unique beauty and cultural background.
As of 2026, with Marathi being introduced as a compulsory subject up to Class X in schools across different educational boards (Maharashtra State Board, CBSE, ICSE/CISCE, IB, IGCSE, Other recognized board), students may need additional support to build confidence and strengthen their language skills.
I am currently based in the USA. Flexible timings available for U.S. time zones, with select timings that may also be convenient for students in IST.
My classes are designed to help students develop a strong foundation in Marathi through reading, vocabulary building, comprehension, writing practice, essay and letter writing, and understanding difficult words with clear English explanations when needed.
My goal is to make Marathi simple, engaging, and enjoyable, while helping students appreciate the language, culture, and traditions behind it.
