Hi, I'm James! I'm a Boston College freshman and graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy. I’m passionate about helping students succeed in math through clear explanations, personalized instruction, and a supportive learning environment. I strive to make every student feel comfortable asking questions, tackling challenges, and building confidence in their abilities. My goal is to help you not only improve your grades but also develop problem-solving skills that last beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I break difficult problems into simple steps, use clear examples, and encourage students to think critically and solve problems independently.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing key concepts and identifying areas of difficulty, followed by guided practice and independent problem-solving. I adapt each lesson to the student's pace, goals, and learning style.

I bring strong academic skills, patience, and effective study strategies to every lesson.

My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle, and high school students who want to strengthen their math foundations, improve grades, prepare for exams, or build confidence in mathematics.
