About Wendy
I am a recent college graduate who has taught at the Boston College O'Neill Tutoring Center as a writing tutor for two years; I double majored in Finance and Information Systems, but had a course load such as philosophy, theology, creative writing and took 5+ sociology level classes that required heavy essay writing.
I have edited 100+ essays in my time in addition to tutoring as well as provided grammatical corrections and gave structured action plans to students. I edited papers from all different subjects, from business writing to grad school applications or thesis papers; I also helped with applications with real results- If you would like to know more, please message me!

I am a passionate and empathetic person who values human connection- writing is very personal, and making the student feel comfortable is a top priority for me. I like to first understand and learn the student's style of writing in order to gauge the student's level. In learning their unique style of writing, I like to point out patterns in their writing so they become aware of their styles, and are not only following a set of rules.
As a teacher, I am very empathetic but also can be direct, but I always love to give a very welcoming and patient environment. I believe anyone can become a good writer with the proper guidance, and I hope to bring this to our session!
