About Marian
I am a BPC graduate with a BA in Politics and Business Management, an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. I achieved top grades in English and French at GCSE, and a distinction on the BPC. I have experience supporting students in both GCSE, IB and GDL studies, helping them to build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve excellent exam results. My approach is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs by breaking down complex topics, reviewing exam techniques, and developing effective study skills. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to succeed.

My approach is student-led and I adapt lessons to each learner’s needs. This might include focusing on specific problem areas, working through the syllabus to prepare for exams, or developing effective study techniques to build confidence and long-term retention. My lessons usually last 45 minutes to an hour, though I can also offer 2-hour sessions if needed. I achieved A* grades in GCSE English and French, as well as a Distinction in Law of Organisations and a high Merit in Tort Law during my postgraduate studies. I also achieved distinction and high distinctions in Criminal Litigation, Examination-in-chief, Cross Examination, Conferencing Skills, Civil Advocacy, Drafting and Opinion Writing on the Bar Practice Course. I now tutor students at GCSE and GDL level, and support BPC students with revision guidance, helping them not only succeed in their exams but also enjoy the learning process.
