About Elana
Hi! I’m Elana, a Brazilian tutor with a genuine passion for languages and teaching. I have several years of experience as a tutor in Brazil, as well as experience teaching Portuguese to international students and English to beginners.
I’m patient, friendly and attentive to each student’s individual needs. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when it comes to speaking, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace and feel comfortable making mistakes.
Whether you are starting Portuguese from scratch or already have some knowledge and want to improve your conversation skills, I would love to help you become more confident and enjoy the learning process.

My name is Elana, and I have several years of experience as a tutor in Brazil, teaching Portuguese to foreign students and English to beginners. My lessons are friendly, practical and adapted to each student’s needs and goals.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it from the beginning, so I combine conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and real-life situations. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and create a relaxed environment where making mistakes is a natural part of learning.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can also be arranged. I offer lessons for beginners and intermediate students, particularly teenagers and adults, whether you are learning Portuguese for travel, work, relationships, family, or simply because you love the language and Brazilian culture.
Each lesson is tailored to your level, learning style and objectives, so we can focus on what will be most useful and enjoyable for you.
