About Mike
My sessions focus on helping you develop clarity, inner steadiness and emotional balance through mindfulness, meditation and breathwork. These practices form the core of my approach. I guide you through simple and practical tools for calming the mind, regulating the nervous system, easing stress and building a more compassionate and grounded relationship with your thoughts and everyday experiences. Each session supports mental strength, gentle awareness and a deeper sense of presence.
Every mindfulness or meditation session is tailored specifically for the individual. I take into account your goals, challenges, lifestyle and personal preferences to create a session that feels meaningful and accessible. This makes the work suitable for complete beginners as well as those with more experience.
You will learn reliable breathing and awareness practices that help reduce stress, improve focus and bring greater calm into your daily life. My teaching style is supportive, patient and relaxed, while still offering clear structure and high-quality guidance. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood and encouraged to explore your inner world without pressure. When the mind feels settled and supported, genuine progress unfolds naturally.
If helpful, I can integrate complementary practices such as gentle coaching, mobility work, meditation-based movement, yoga, functional movement and breathwork techniques. These additions are optional and are included only when they genuinely support your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. This creates a holistic experience that nurtures both mind and body while remaining centred on mindfulness and calm self-awareness.
You will finish each session feeling clearer, more grounded and more connected to yourself, with practical tools that you can carry into the rest of your day.

I am an English mindfulness, meditation and breathwork instructor based in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. My work centres on helping people feel calmer, clearer and more grounded through simple, practical awareness practices and supportive one-to-one coaching. I guide students in developing emotional balance, steady focus and a healthier relationship with their thoughts, stress and daily habits.
My background includes breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, coaching, yoga, fitness training and cold exposure, which allows me to create sessions that are adaptable and meaningful for each individual. Whether you want to reduce stress, improve clarity, support your emotional wellbeing or deepen your self-awareness, I tailor each session to your personal needs and goals.
My teaching style is calm, supportive and relaxed, while still offering clear guidance and structure. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood and comfortable to explore your inner world without pressure. When the mind feels settled and supported, real progress happens naturally.
Although my main focus is mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and personal coaching, I can also include gentle movement, yoga or mobility work when helpful. These additions are used only to support your mental and emotional wellbeing and are never required.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy health, fitness, music, studying, cooking and exploring different cultures. I have travelled widely across Europe, Asia and Central and South America, and I bring this open and grounded approach into the way I teach.

I discovered power yoga with Mike about five years ago, and it completely changed my opinion about yoga in general. It’s fun, challenging, and deeply rewarding. I also took English classes with him, which I absolutely loved. Our lessons always included relaxed, interesting conversations, and he always prepared great topics to discuss. After those classes, I felt much more confident using English, and my vocabulary expanded a lot.
