About Lilian
I am a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing and a Queen’s University graduate with a Bachelor of Computing. Having lived and studied in Canada, I am familiar with the pronunciation, grammar and cultural questions that English-speaking learners may encounter, and I can explain Mandarin clearly in English.
I am patient, attentive and detail-oriented, and I adapt my support to each learner’s goals, level and learning style. Whether you are a beginner, an independent learner, or already studying Mandarin through a school, textbook or app, I will provide thoughtful feedback and a relaxed space to practice.
My goal is to help you use Mandarin more naturally, understand difficult points clearly and feel more confident speaking and writing.
