About John
Hi, I'm John! A graduate from Bristol University with a 2:1 in Classics, specialising in Latin. I have had work experience in a primary school, helped friends and siblings with exam revision and homework at secondary school level, and was a tour guide for 2 years so love to help expand the knowledge of others. I feel a strong connection with the ancient world and through our tutoring sessions, I know that you would grow to immerse yourself in that world too - I even have a vast collection of bite size facts that I'm sure you will find interesting!

For beginners: - Establishing grammatical basics, going over noun declensions and verb conjugations as well as picking up some helpful vocabulary along the way! - My experience is with the Cambridge Latin Course and so we would follow the structure laid out in these textbooks, however we can work to your preference. GCSE level: - Happy to explain/revise more complex grammatical structures as well as useful vocabulary for exams - We will go through extended translation passages which again will help for exams, and I will help with analysis of the concepts and what the author is trying to convey. I am very open to the student's preferred way of learning, however each lesson will be an hour in length.
