About Kinon
Hello! I’m Kinon Angelo, currently pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering. With a robust foundation in Mathematics and Physics, I bring three years of dedicated tutoring experience to help students excel in their Edexcel IGCSE and IAL exams.
I was honored to be the highest scorer in Sri Lanka for IGCSE Mathematics, and this achievement fuels my passion for teaching. My goal is to inspire my students to reach the same level of excellence by providing clear, engaging, and effective tutoring. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support.
In my lessons, I focus on simplifying complex concepts and creating an interactive learning environment. I use a student-centered approach, tailoring each lesson to meet individual needs and ensuring that students not only understand the material but also feel confident in their abilities.

My Approach to Tutoring:
As an Aerospace Engineering student with three years of tutoring experience, I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Physics for Edexcel IGCSE and IAL students. My teaching method is student-centered, focusing on simplifying complex concepts to make learning both engaging and effective. I start each lesson with a clear explanation of the topic, followed by worked examples, problem-solving techniques, and interactive student participation. This ensures that my students not only understand the material but are well-prepared for their exams.
Typical Lesson Structure:
Each lesson lasts about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student's needs and the complexity of the topic. Lessons include a mix of concept explanation, worked examples, and exam-focused practice, such as past paper questions, to reinforce understanding and prepare students for their assessments.
My Qualifications & Experience:
I am currently pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics. I have achieved top marks in my Edexcel IAL exams, including full scores in Chemistry and Physics, which demonstrates my mastery of these subjects. I was also the highest scorer in Sri Lanka for IGCSE Mathematics, and I strive to inspire my students to achieve the same level of excellence. With three years of experience, I have successfully tutored students both locally and internationally, helping them achieve excellent results in their IGCSE and IAL exams.
