About Rebaone

Rebaone has vast experience in tutoring. He has tutored both online and in person since 2010 to date. He has encountered students from various provinces and backgrounds in South Africa and has aided them in their respective battles with Mathematics. As a Mathematics graduate and Further Studies Mathematics educator, his passion and love for Mathematics often rub off on his learners, leading them to a great desire to learn and do well in the subject.

About the lesson

Discovery point - a learner works on an activity to explore the topic to be discussed. Explanation - I explain to the learner what is going on in the topic. This is when the actual teaching happens. Exercise - the learner tries a few problems on their own. Evaluate - an assessment for feedback to both the learner and myself as a teacher.

He is patient and passionate. Caring for other people and an understanding teacher. He motivated us. During 2020 I was doing grade 11 and things were hard because of Covid 19, so all of the schools were closed I was watching one video of him teaching geometry on YouTube and ended up giving out numbers at the end. I took the number and WhatsApp him to help me with maths. He sends me a link for a group chat. I then joined it. I found most of the learners schooling around me and he was tutoring us for free. He even came to our province to tutor us in mathematics because he was in another province for work and this helped me a lot during grade 12 because I was using most of the knowledge he gave me. I ended up getting distinctions in maths.
