About John Christian
I'm currently a 4th year BSIT (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology) student at STI College in General Santos City, so I bring a strong, active foundation in math, logic, and problem-solving from my own coursework. I'm detail-oriented and take tutoring seriously as a real commitment, not a side activity I'll drop halfway through. I understand that trusting a new tutor takes a leap of faith, especially online, so I aim to be reliable, punctual, and easy to communicate with from our very first lesson. I'm comfortable working independently and explaining things clearly, which comes from balancing my own academic projects and coursework alongside teaching. Hi, I'm John Christian, a 4th year BSIT student who's always enjoyed breaking down math problems into steps that actually make sense. My approach is simple: I don't just show you the answer, I walk through the reasoning so you can solve similar problems on your own next time. A typical lesson starts with reviewing what's giving you trouble, working through examples together, then practicing a few problems while I guide you. What sets me apart is patience — I remember what it's like to feel stuck, so I never rush through a concept you haven't fully grasped yet. My lessons are best suited for high school and early college students working on Math, Arithmetic, Algebra, and Quantitative Methods, especially if you learn better with clear, step-by-step explanations rather than just memorizing formulas.
