About Lucie
During my mechanical engineering studies I started to learn how to code in my free time. After obtaining my masters degree in mechanical engineering I decided to work as a web developer. During my masters I gave coding classes at my university to a class of 25. My students were from very different courses, ranging from 1st year marketing to an engineering PhD. I absolutely loved this teaching experience and decided to continue teaching coding.

I am a web developer and also have experience giving coding lessons at university. I love building websites but I am also very passionate about teaching which is why I would love to share my knowledge with students curious about web development. Having basic web development knowledge can come in handy in many different fields these days. It can also a great opportunity to discover web development which is a very in-demand job that pays extremely well!
My classes are based on acquiring the basic knowledge necessary to build and publish a simple website for free.
Each class is structured in two sections: a theoretical section and a hands-on section, except for the last lessons which are focused on a project. Each student will have built and published their own website by the end of the program.

- HTML : Coding language used to structure a web page
- CSS : Coding language used to modify the appearance of a web page
- UI + UX : How to design and structure your website for users
- Github : Platform used by developers to manage their code and
collaborate
- Bootstrap : Tools used to help build your website
- Javascript : Coding language used to make web pages interactive
- Project : Create your own website!
Group classes are available and have a 20% discount per student (20.8€/hour instead of 26€/hour per student)

Lucie has a great sense of Leadership and teaching, I recommend her as a teacher because I believe she not only enhanced my productivity but also taught me new skills when she was tutoring me. She was tutoring me for a few months to prepare for final exams which I passed with flying colors thanks to all of her work. She stayed organized and knew how to approach and teach problems which I had so that I would understand, the skill of tailoring explanations for her students is a very valuable skill which helped me greatly, we where able to move fast through topics along with the tips she gave me to complete work which I usually struggled with. Therefore I would recommend her as she is an amazing tutor which helped me greatly.
Lucie is a patient and effective educator. Her most remarkable skill is easily dissecting a subject to its core fundamentals, which enables students to develop the proficiency of deep work and prioritising subject focus. 5 star, would highly recommend.
