About Evelyn
Hi, I’m Evelyn Parker, and I have 7 years of experience teaching guitar to beginners and intermediate students. I completed my education at University of Colorado Boulder, where I developed strong skills in music performance. My teaching style is supportive, practical, and focused on real improvement. I have helped many students build confidence and improve their playing skills. I was awarded the Guitar Skill Excellence Award for helping students achieve steady progress. Outside teaching, I enjoy playing guitar and creating music.

In my guitar lessons, I guide you step by step so you can learn comfortably and build strong playing confidence. As a highly experienced teacher, I understand how to simplify techniques and make learning enjoyable. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. We cover acoustic and electric guitar along with blues, rock, and jazz styles. You will learn chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, scales, riffs, and solos in a simple and practical way. You can ask doubts anytime during the lesson and send your favorite songs before class so I can design the lesson according to your goals.
