About Zainab
I am a Psychology and Marketing tutor with an academic background in Business and Psychology, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Professional Counseling. I am passionate about teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of complex theories and feel more confident in their academic abilities. Having experienced the challenges of university-level study myself, I understand how overwhelming coursework can feel, and I aim to create a supportive, clear, and structured learning environment where students can ask questions freely and grow in confidence.

I use a student-centred and practical teaching approach, focusing on helping students clearly understand concepts and apply them confidently in exams and assignments. For psychology, I simplify complex theories using real-life examples and case studies, and guide students on academic writing and structured answers. For marketing, I connect theory to real brands, consumer behaviour, and current market examples, with support for case studies and reports.
Lessons are interactive, paced according to the student’s needs for the semester, and focused on building understanding and confidence rather than rote learning.
Lesson length: Typically 60 minutes (longer sessions available for exam revision or assignments).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Business and Psychology; currently completing a Master’s in Professional Counselling.
Who I teach: University and college students studying Psychology, Marketing, Business, or related modules, including exam preparation and assignment support.
