I consider that each student is a world, so I do not have a fixed methodology. When I have a new student, the first thing I do is to check his level and after finding out and knowing the objective he wants to achieve, I create a program to achieve the goal. I usually divide the classes into 3 parts:
In the 1st I check that the exercises that I sent the previous day are fine
In the 2nd I continue explaining new concepts
In the 3rd I do some exercises with the student and I leave others to him/her.
