About Isaiah

I am a Business Management graduate and Client Solutions Associate at GLG with a strong passion for education and communication. I have lived in New York City my entire life, growing up in one of the most diverse environments in the world. Being surrounded by people from different cultures and backgrounds shaped my appreciation for language as a tool for connection, opportunity, and understanding. In high school, I reached an intermediate level in Mandarin, and I am currently learning Arabic, which has given me firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. This background allows me to approach teaching English with empathy, patience, and a clear understanding of what students need to feel confident and supported as they learn. As a tutor, I take a professional, structured, and student-centered approach. I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and practical application so students can confidently use English in real-life situations. My goal is not only to teach correct grammar and vocabulary, but also to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves and building long-term confidence in their skills. I am committed to creating a respectful, encouraging learning environment where students feel heard and supported. Whether you are learning English for work, school, or everyday communication, I bring professionalism, preparation, and genuine care to every lesson.

About the lesson

My approach as an English tutor is student-centered, practical, and encouraging. I focus on helping students build confidence in their communication skills while developing a strong foundation in English. I believe learning is most effective when students feel comfortable making mistakes, so I aim to create a supportive environment where practice and growth are prioritized over perfection. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals, whether they are focused on conversational fluency, academic improvement, or using English more confidently in everyday situations.

My teaching methods combine conversation-based learning with guided instruction. I use real-life examples, simple explanations, and repetition to reinforce new concepts. When introducing grammar or vocabulary, I focus on clarity and practical application rather than memorization. I also incorporate speaking exercises, role-playing, and open discussion to help students actively use what they learn, rather than passively absorb information.
