About Tymen
I've taught over a hundred students, ranging from HS trigonometry to Pre-Calc, Calc I and II, Intro to Statistics - advanced topics in Statistics, preparatory courses for SAT and GED. No student of mine has ever received lower than a B. Each SAT or GED prep student increased their score more than 100 points, (post-test - pre-test). I do not simply tell a student how to answer a question, but how to think through it, frame it, break it down into solvable parts. My objective is to teach them how to approach problems, not simply memorize lists of equations.

I have a Master's of Science in Statistics, along with undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Mathematics. Equally important to my understanding of this material, I find pride in my ability to find creative approaches to make seemingly complex ideas intuitive.

Tymen is a trustworthy teacher because he is very honest and sincere as a person and when teaching. He was my calculus tutor and did an amazing job explaining concepts to me that seemed impossible to understand. He is very patient and takes the time to understand where you are getting stuck.
