About Leonel

Taylor series, problem-solving strategies, the chain rule, limits and continuity, differential equations basics, sequences and series, applications of derivatives, and implicit differentiation are the tools I help you navigate. These specific areas often trip up learners, but I clarify them using my Georgia Tech background. Since I earned my degree and teaching credential, I have spent 3 years guiding students through these complex topics.

I prefer to stay calm while we work through plenty of examples until the method feels automatic. It is my goal to ensure you walk into your classroom feeling prepared and calm. I truly enjoy the moment a difficult concept finally clicks for someone.

About the lesson

Confidence is the primary outcome, and though it happens slowly, it arrives once we start by performing a diagnostic skills check before we build the plan. Since I have 3 years of experience teaching calculus to students at every level, I adjust my pace to fit your specific needs perfectly.

We build real understanding before we ever move toward drilling mechanics. Calculus becomes much less intimidating when we break the material into manageable pieces. I find that this rigorous approach is surprisingly satisfying for most students. There is a quiet beauty in seeing a problem resolve itself when you have the right foundation.
